The Journey Begins...

If you really know me, then you know that I have wanted to adopt a little girl from China for the past 35 years.  Yes, 35 years!  It was at a church service 35 years ago that I first heard about China and their one child policy from a visiting Missionary.  She showed pictures and told stories of countless babies being dropped off, or left on street corners because they were girls or because they had something wrong with them.  It was there in that service that I felt God touch me and I knew that I would be going to China someday to bring my daughter home. 

I have started this blog as a way to record my adoption process and hopefully encourage others considering adoption.  I am not an expert on this subject, nor do I pretend to be.  I am just a mom who has been blessed by the miracle of adoption.
